Tummy Time

Apparently we're a little late at four weeks to start Sam on what the experts call "Tummy Time." He's already rubbed a bald spot on the back of the head from all the lazing about on his back he's been doing. So, this week we rolled out the play mat, put him on his belly, and tried to encourage him to lift his head, no small feat when your head is as big as his. But we're sure he'll have super strong neck muscles in no time.

Month One Highlights Pt. Two

Ready for an autumn stroll.
Napping with Dad (notice you see no shots of me...is it because I'm not napping or because Bruce never takes pictures? you be the judge).

Check out the matching onesie and socks. Fancy.
Lounging in the sunroom.

Month One Highlights

We can't believe it's been so long since we posted Peanut Sam updates! The days and nights have run together in a dizzying pattern of sleeping, eating, and pooping (Sam) and sleeplessness, feeding, and diaper changing (us). We actually feel pretty smug when we remember to take the occasional photo of his life's milestones. Here are just a few of the highlights so far.

Strapped into the swing.

First visit with Grandma.

First bath (notice the evil pinky finger).

Napping in the bouncy chair.

A little floor time with Marley.
